My favorite Melbourne House artist is back at it, this time with a free download. Will Sparks, the 20-year-old Australian native, has absolutely blown up over the past year and it’s not hard to see why. From his song “Ah Yeah” that broke Will Sparks out as a producer, to his remix of the Stafford Brothers’ “Hello” (ft. Lil Wayne and Christina Milian) and everything in between, he is a top-notch producer with one of the most unique sounds out there. Seeing Sparks live was no joke either, as he absolutely tore up Rumor Nightclub here in Boston. Two days ago Will Sparks released his latest production “Crazy”, complete with a piano intro and free download, and it’s already seen over 70,000 plays on SoundCloud. The song itself is pretty damn epic, going through patterns of half-time with Trap/Dubstep feels and climbing back to his aggressive yet bouncey Melbourne House sound. The driving bass line that is ever-present in Sparks’ songs makes yet another appearance and it’s one of the reasons I keep coming back for more. “Crazy” may be a bit less club-friendly than some of Will Sparks’ other tunes, but I can see it making a big festival crowd go absolutely crazy. If you like what you hear show Sparks some love!
BONUS:
Will Sparks is playing the Avalon in Los Angeles this Saturday and to get fans hyped he put together a 20-minute mix called “Party PPL Mix 2”. Not quite an original name, but it certainly gets the job done when you listen to it. Full of Sparks’ productions and heavy Melbourne House, this one will leave you wanting more, which is probably the point in helping to promote the Avalon show. No track list available at this time but I’m sure you can piece it together.
