I cannot stress to you how important it is for fans of Electro-House to follow Jimi Frew. The Australian is quite masterful in creating hard-hitting tracks that stay unique in a world of generic Big Room House music. If you’re a fan of guys like Tommy Trash or John Dahlback, Jimi Frew is someone you’ll also enjoy paying attention to. I last posted about Frew’s bomb “Depth” back in June and this time he’s back with an equally energetic and uniquely awesome record called “Aqua Frost”. As you can see from the image above, Jimi Frew has already gained support from Dada Life, Kaskade, Deorro, Tommy Trash and John Dahlback for “Aqua Frost”; for good reason. The melodic buildup is such a unique and flavorful craft, but the drop is devastating and an absolute beast. The second drop is even more intense and has me dancing in my seat. I’m really impressed by everything Jimi Frew does and hopefully the world starts to catch on (or else he’s my secret DJ tool)! This one dropped last week but will stay fresh for a long time!
