GRiZ’s ‘Good Will Continue’ Remix Album Is Out Now!

We all know Detroit-born, Colorado-based producer and DJ GRiZ is special on his own – but when he teams up with his friends it’s something extraordinary. Pulling from all types of genres but finding a niche in what I like to call Electro-Funk, GRiZ’s latest album Good Will Prevail was released one year ago this September. To celebrate the anniversary of that release, and in anticipation of GRiZ’s milestone two-day event at Red Rocks 10 days from today, he’s released the Good Will Continue remix album featuring 13 fresh takes on his instant-classic tracks from Good Will Prevail.

For this remix album GRiZ enlisted some juggernauts to help provide an eclectic sound that ranges from House to Dubstep to RnB to Psychedelic Rock to Big Room Bass and plenty more. We have the pleasure of hearing tracks from Dirty Audio, Barclay Crenshaw (Claude VonStroke’s alter ego for those who don’t know), AC Slater, Tommy Trash, Opiuo, and many more.

What pumps me up about this album is that it still feels like a GRiZ production with the main difference between this and the original being we have a wider range of genres represented. And even though I’m a House Head, the tracks with the funkier sounds are the ones that are tickling my fancy. In particular the Boogie T remix of “Can’t Hold Me Down” (possibly my favorite track on the album), the Opiuo remix of “PS GFY”, and the Jenaux remix of “I Don’t Mind” really stand out. I also love the Tommy Trash remix of “What We’ve Become” and the AC Slater remix of “Before I Go”. Of course all these remixes wouldn’t be possible without the stellar writing and production talent of GRiZ himself and overall it’s a stellar team effort.

GRiZ is on tour the rest of this Summer and through the fall so make sure you go see him when he comes to a city near you – especially with the FULL BAND performances! And anyone heading to Red Rocks, we’ll see you there 🙂
