I’ve been an avid fan of the man, the myth, the legend; Protohype since day 1. His remix of ‘We Like to Party’ reminded me exactly why I started loving the womp womp in the first place. Taking the lamest song and turning it into a bass in your face banger demonstrated not only his talent as a producer, but he throws a little humor in there to remind everyone that behind the CDJ’s and turntables there’s a living, breathing person. In the past year he’s been absolutely murdering it with festie anthems like Bad Boy Flow, and he just keeps getting better. I respect Max so much for his constant thirst to continue putting out new music. The kid grinds hard to keep himself always relevant and he only continuously keeps bettering his sound. I’m so grateful to consider him one of the homies in the game, not only for his quick wit, but because he’s constantly reminding me why I became a fan in the first place.
