A year ago, College Station, Texas played host to a varied group of musical acts at the first ever Hullabalooza Festival. This was, by far, the biggest gathering of hip-hop and electronic artists the town has seen since I became a student in 2010, which was awesome for a town that is usually booming with country shows instead. Luckily for us, Hullabalooza will be returning again this year with an even bigger and better line-up in store. So be sure to head out to Texas World Speedway in College Station on November 17th so you can witness, what will assuredly be, the biggest show of the year. Keep reading to check out some tracks from some of my favorite artists that’ll be in attendance.
Ludacris
Hullabalooza’s headliner this year is none other than Luda himself. Little introduction is needed with him, but here’s one of my favorites anyway.
Flux Pavilion
Fresh off of his “Freeway EP” release and rounding off a stint of shows in the U.S., Hullabalooza will be Flux’s last stop in the states before he ships back overseas.
Childish Gambino
With a tentative December 10th release date for his upcoming album “Because the Internet,” as well as a collab with fellow festival performer Flux Pavilion, I’m sure ‘Bino will pull out some surprises at this years festival.
Zeds Dead
The Mad Decent duo will also be in attendance, hitting up College Station right before they also head to the UK.
Cherub
As one of the lesser known artists at the event, this feel good, electro-pop duo is going to bring a fun and energetic presence that may take the crowd by surprise.
