hotel-garuda-summertime-sadness

I know what you’re thinking. We got way, way too much of this song last year and it should probably be put to bed. Well, I would’ve been inclined to agree with you until this latest Hotel Garuda remix graced my ears. The duo of Manila Killa and Candle Weather that make up Hotel Garuda have blasted onto the scene, kicking it all off just over a month ago with their awesome mashup of MNEK’s “White Noise” cover and Klingande’s “Punga,” followed up by their sax-laden remix of Corona’s famous old-school track “Rhythm of the Night.” Both songs went viral, with the latter track having racked up over half a million plays on SoundCloud in a few short weeks. While every song they’ve produced so far gives off summertime vibes, Hotel Garuda decided to drop the sax in favor of 80’s-esque synths to complement Lana Del Rey‘s airy voice. The result gives good cause to get outside and start enjoying the warm weather. Don’t miss the free download on their Facebook page.

Don’t miss their Corona remix either – it’s an instant classic.
