Back in 2006, almost 10 years ago, Swedish DJ/producer Steve Angello released one of his most notable tracks called “Teasing Mr. Charlie”. The track is a true Acid House gem that highlights one of Angello’s favorite sounds in dance music. Just like the Swedish dance juggernaut, I too share a love for Acid House. It’s a sound that is both funky and grimy at the same time and in today’s dance music scene it isn’t a sound heard too often – though it does date back to the 1980s and 90s. Steve Angello, throughout his career, has made it known that he has a strong love for Acid House, though it’s a little disappointing that he hasn’t dropped a track of that style in quite some time. Have no fear – Sebjak and Tony Senghore are here to put a fresh twist on a House classic.

After a massive start to the year with releases “Raveline” and “We Are” both released on Ultra Records, Swedish DJ/ producer Sebjak, alongside Tony Senghore, have created a very special remix of Steve Angello’s Size Records release “Teasing Mr Charlie” available as a free download. The remix is bigger, bolder, and louder as Sebjak and Tony Senghore add their energized Big Room feel for an absolute dance floor destroyer.

If you check out some of Sebjak’s releases, like “Raveline” and “We Are” above, you’ll see he has a BIG sound. Falling somewhere between Big Room and Progressive, with a true ravey feel and elements of Acid House throughout, he’s got a formula that is both unique and hard-hitting. Already marking himself out as one of the most exciting new talents to come out of Sweden, a country synonymous with producing some of the world’s biggest dance music stars, Sebjak is now making an impression on a much larger scale. Having signed an exclusive deal with Ultra Records, Sebjak is focusing on working with his fellow Swedes – Steve Angello and AN21 on “GODS” and Jaz Von D on “Into The Wild”, both which featured in Sebjak’s guest mix for Steve Angello’s residency show on BBC Radio 1.

Check out the track and keep an eye on this rising star!
