I was about to call it a night not having found any new music I wanted to post about today. That is, of course, until I discovered J Paul Getto‘s newest gem “Voicemail” which was released today on Guesthouse Music. I have to show love for my Boston homies who are staying loud and proud in the music game, whether it’s underground above ground or anywhere in between. “Voicemail” is an exclusive to Beatport and the folks at San Francisco’s Guesthouse Music are responsible for throwing this one out to the masses. This hilarious Disco-infused track is one I immediately recognized from Treasure Fingers’ July 4th show at Cielo in NYC (see below). I recognized the track more for the lyrics than the actual music, but you’ve got to admit it’s a great combination of flare and vibes. J Paul Getto writes: “Special thanks to Greg Robertson and his Ex-Girlfriend for providing such classic material… WARNING: EXPLICIT LYRICS”. If you aren’t familiar with J Paul Getto, but you’re a fan of GOOD House music and/or any type of Disco House, this is a guy you need to check out. He’s constantly putting out new material and his sets are fantastic.
