Fresh off the January 2015 edition of Holy Ship and currently on tour with DESTRUCTO, Anna Lunoe, and Motez for the Ship2Ship Tour, T.Williams dropped his latest track “Back & Forth” late last week. “Grime” seems to be a common word to describe T.William’s tracks and that’s especially evident with “Back & Forth”. The UK Bass and House legend Tesfa Williams, who simply goes by T.Williams, cut his teeth in the London electronic scene, carving out a dark sound in the House, Grime, and Bass realms. “Back & Forth” is an immediate dance floor destroyer with some classic House synths, a driving distorted bass line, and a chopped-and-screwed vocal hook that reminds me of Roger Sanchez’s “Dangerous Thoughts” that was released under the S-Man moniker.
Word through the grapevine is T.Williams’ “Back & Forth” will be released in the coming weeks and that we can also look forward to new material from him. If you have a chance to catch the epic lineup that is the Ship2Ship tour, sandwiched between the two Holy Ship sailings, absolutely make sure you get out there to get down with some fresh beats. I know I’ll be doing everything I can to get to the San Francisco edition on February 5th at Audio Nightclub (TICKETS HERE).
