Dutch producer Bakermat released today his new EP – Games, with two tracks and a collaboration with South African electronic duo Goldfish. The record has been in the making since 2013, and a year after meeting up with Golfish, they decided to make a collaboration track.
“They came up with an amazing chord progression and we combined our unique production techniques to make a refreshing and original product!”
The first track, Games, featuring Marie Plassard‘s vocals starts off with a calm guitar chord progression bringing in the serenity of the track, and builds up to a chill house drop that emphasizes Marie’s powerful vocals. However the second track, Games Continued, that brings in Goldfish takes a more uplifting approach to the original Games track. Games Continued starts with an upbeat piano chord progression, followed by the smooth vocals which will instantly get your bones moving, but it isn’t until the sax comes in that the track really comes to life. The saxophone solo is insanely energetic and will get anyone on their feet in no time. A collab match made in heaven, Bakermat and Golfish bring a track filled with emotion infused in the vocals, and a beat o take everyone straight to the dance floor.
