Our good friends back in Boston are absolutely stoked on this one and we are too! Chris Culnane (stage name Burgundy Jones) and Mack Robillard (stage name Mackrobi) are the duo BØATS and they’ve been working nonstop on this fantastic Marshmello remix as part of the Camp Bisco remix contest happening now (if you don’t believe me, see what Chris wrote below).
For this remix, BØATS decided to take Marshmello’s Future Bass gem “Alone” and turn it into a G-House banger. On first listen I was treated to elements of Destructo and Night Bass (see: AC Slater) and I really liked what the guys did here. I’ve always known Chris as a top-notch DJ and it’s very impressive to hear his honed skills in the studio as well, especially by taking a track that falls in another genre and turning it into something brand new.
The guys have my vote and I sincerely wish them the best of luck on the contest. Now we’re asking for your help in getting BØATS’ vote count up so they can win the grand prize: The Grand Prize Winner not only gets their own Monstercat release, but also a chance to play an opening DJ set at this year’s Camp Bisco! Fly in on a BLADE helicopter, and leave a star!

Hey guys!
Today is one of the best days of my life, and a sick 4th of July. First time ever releasing a song I helped create. Sleepless nights, train edits, going to my sister’s car to listen to it 80 times over. If everyone today can give this a listen, like, share to a friend or help us win the chance to perform at Camp Bisco you would be the real MVP <3
