Boston-based production duo BØATS (Chris Culnane and Mack Robillard) are out with a new Bass House flip for the official Anna Lunoe “Godzilla” remix contest – and it goes HARD. At time of publishing the remix is currently ranking #2 in the overall standings and for good reason. Anna Lunoe’s original version features her dreamy vocals on top of a 4×4 Future House beat, and BØATS decided to crank it up a notch by summoning a Dubstep-inspired sound while keeping the four-on-the-floor House feel alive. I’m reminded of something by Dr. Fresch, Ghastly, Malaa, or Destructo and can see each of them playing this gem of a remix in their sets.
