Rainy day in Boston? Fear not, I’m here with some new Disco-House to funk you up! Gramophonedzie might be a name you’ve never heard before, and chances are you’re having trouble trying to pronounce it. I was fortunate enough to discover him earlier this summer when I found out he was coming to Boston’s Splash Ultra Lounge.
According to his website, “Marko Milicevic is Gramophonedzie : the MTV [Europe] award winning Serbian superstar who is currently riding a serious wave following a remarkable breakthrough year in 2010. From his hometown of Belgrade, he has forged a loyal worldwide following for his distinctive productions and performances.”
After hearing Gramo’s hit song “Why Don’t You” (below), he’s been on my radar, because I’ll be honest: Tech-House and Disco-House are two of my guilty pleasures. So when I was scanning the Beatport charts this morning, on the lookout for some new releases, this one surely piqued my interest. Hopefully you’ll dig it!
