A compilation album of this scale takes a lot of time and careful listening to truly digest. So many sounds, so many ebbs and flows, so many different producer names whether tracks are originals or remixes – but one thing remains constant: there is no lack of driving bass. All songs come from the world of Trance and Progressive, but as I’ve often written lately, the lines of EDM genres are quickly blurring, as a lot of these tracks feature HEAVY drops that are common in fields such as Electro-House. One thing about this genre remains true, however, and it’s that these songs are the ones that, from a production standpoint, are the most in-depth, intricate, and truly show how talented these producers are. The album was dropped this past Monday April 23rd and continues the Anujunabeats Worldwide compilation series tradition of showcasing the brightest new world-class talent and was mixed by Israel’s Maor Levi and Poland’s Nitrous Oxide.
It was challenging, but I’ve managed to hand-pick a bunch of tracks from this compilation that particularly resonated with me. I personally like the songs that go the hardest, but hopefully I’ve found something for everyone. Please note these songs are taken directly from the album, which is a continuous mix that has split tracks. They are not 320kbps songs, so if you like what you hear please go support the artists and download the album at Beatport. I assure you the whole thing is worth having, make sure you turn it up LOUD.

The Anjunabeats Worldwide compilations are a way for Anjunabeats to highlight the rising stars of the electronic music world. Previous editions have served as a springboard for the famous Finns Super8 & Tab, Russian superstar Arty and the effervescent and eclectic Mat Zo.
Maor Levi, the maestro behind CD1, burst onto the scene as a precocious 16-year old with “Lital” in 2006, and has since matured into a key part of the Anjunabeats family, as well as producing techno and house for Mark Knight’s Toolroom as 123XYZ. 2012 sees Maor at the very top of his game following a run of releases and remixes that have graced the sets of DJs like Above & Beyond, Mark Knight, Tiesto and Fatboy Slim.
Given his very real grasp of cross genre dance music, Maor’s mix is an exciting hybrid of multiple influences. It includes Mat Zo’s “It’s Yours” (an homage to the house classic by Jon Cutler and E-Man), as well as unreleased material from current Anjunabeats stars
CD2 is mixed by Nitrous Oxide, aka Krzysztof Pretkiewicz, who is responsible for countless Anjunabeats classics such as “North Pole,” “Downforce,” and the recent “iPeople.” Krzysztof represents forward-thinking, energized dance music at its best, and the mix has many of his personal productions, including the forthcoming single “Tiburon” and his collaboration with Space RockerZ “Energize.” The mix also contains tracks and remixes from the likes of Super8 & Tab, Andrew Bayer, Boom Jinx & Daniel Kandi and Ost & Meyer. Like CD1, many of these are exclusive to this compilation.
