Kevin Drew, also known by his Production/DJ Moniker Kdrew has been making quite a name for himself lately. This New Jersey native has been producing and Dj’ing since he was in high school. Until recently he has been making quite an impression in the electronic dance music scene, specifically speaking when Martin Solveig played Kdrew’s remix of “Somebody I used to know” by Gotye at this years Ultra Music Festival . Kdrew’s remix of “Somebody I used to know” is a proper American dubstep tune with well placed bass lines and melodic synths that tie perfectly into the already emotional original track by Gotye.
Gotye – Somebody I used to know (Kdrew Remix)
“Bullseye” as of yesterday is the newest release by Kdrew. This track is in my opinion absolutely phenomenal. “Bullseye” is a very upbeat track set at a danceable 110 BPM that is sure to get any dance hall grinding and grooving. Infused with piano, synths, and those industrial noises we have all come to know and love it is no wonder that earlier today this track was aired on XM Radio’s BPM channel. Make sure you take some time and check out Kdrew and throw some support to an up and coming artist making big dents in the scene.
