I’ve been so unimpressed with just about every progressive house track I’ve heard lately that I generally just steer clear. I took a chance on this jam from Denmark’s Chameo who describes this track as “Hip Hop Summer House”. I don’t know if I’d agree with that description with regards to the hip-hop, as there is none here, but this is certainly some summer house. The moaning and “Hey!” samples are cool and add a ridiculously fun energy to the already bouncy track. The fact that this song has a bridge alone sets it apart from all the monotonous, progressive drivel out there. Check out his Soundcloud for a bunch of more free downloads.
