Moving day can be the worst day of the year if you are unprepared especially if you are just moving onto a couch, which is my current predicament. However, bringing a keg to the couch that you will be spending the next month has its’ perks. Last night as I drank away my homelessness I was greeted by a downstairs neighbor who to my surprise is one of the most talented musicians I have met in awhile. Hearing the melodic tunes pumping from his windows I knew I had to spread these sweet beats to you, our amazing fans.
Flashlights can be described as an electro pop band comprised of two members, Ethan (downstairs neighbor) and Alex. Fusing their love and talent for live instrumentals with the increasingly popular DJ production setup, Flashlights has literally created a new category of music within the Denver scene. With a huge headlining show slated for June at the Larimer Lounge we can only expect big things for this electrifying duo.
