‘Bueller’ by ETC!ETC, Brillz, and Diplo!

This is a new series I’m starting up for all the up and coming DJs out there. Sometimes it’s hard to dedicate time to finding those unique tracks. Most people get tired of hearing the same songs being played in every single set (although not everyone). What sets DJs apart most of the time is playing unique songs that are so good they leave an impact on their audience, songs that people haven’t heard before and get instantly hooked. It can turn a train wreck set around if prepared right. This series is meant to showcase those kinds of tracks, whether brand new or fairly dated. I’ll be doing a new genre each week so check back often and pick up some fresh tunes.

Trap music is something I’ve had to slowly acquire a taste for. It’s taken the EDM community by storm this summer, and to me it sounded like nothing special and too similar to commercial rap music. Check out some of our previous posts on trap from earlier this summer right here and here. I have found that as more and more producers experimented and pushed tracks out however, more quality tracks are getting released that I can really enjoy. I’ll be dropping a few of my favorites for you here:

Above & Beyond  – Sun & Moon (Mimosa Remixxx)
A-Trak, Dillon Francis – Money Makin’ (Oliver Twist Trap Remix)
Congorock – Babylon (Oh Snap! ‘Trap So Hard’ Remix)
ETC!ETC!, Brillz, Diplo – Bueller (ft. Chuck Inglish)
Santigold – Freak Like Me (An-ten-nae Remix)

Also as an added bonus, I have a nice transition track that goes pretty hard. Starts off as moombahcore and half way breaks into some hard bass trap music. Definitely a fun one

Downlink – Party Alarm (Thorn On A Rose Edit)

Hope you enjoy these, tune in next week for Crate Diggers Club #2 as I jump into some moombahton bangers. Please support these artists as always.
