Ah, Mondays: always bittersweet. Usually this day is filled with memories of a great weekend while remaining blurry-eyed and anxious for the week to quickly move by. On the positive side, Mondays are huge days for releases in the world of Electronic Dance Music. Today I have some newer stuff, some older stuff and a couple tracks that may not necessarily fit into the “Electro-House” genre, but I feel they are essential additions to your collections.

Today marks the release of Cedric Gervais’ new track “Cedanie”. He’s been riding a huge wave of success with his controversial hit “Molly” and now this Electro-House banger is sure to rock speakers for months to come.

Also out today is Alvaro’s new banger “Voodoo People” released on Sander Van Doorn’s label Doorn Records (part of Spinnin’ Records). The Dutchman created a dirty sound with this original release and several more remixes are on the way from this up-and-comer.

Last week Zedd & Nicky Romero released their collaboration “Human” and it’s already within the Beatport Top 10. A huge banger by the youngsters who have been having a huger year, this one allows each producer’s unique sound to shine through combined with some female vocals. If you missed the Spectrum EP, grab it HERE.

Back at the end of January, Steve Aoki released the remix package of his monster hit “Ladi Dadi”. While Tommy Trash’s remix might have been the most-popular track, seeing tons of play at Ultra Music Festival 2012, Autoerotique’s version goes pretty damn hard and personally speaking this is my favorite version thus far.

Lastly I bring you a mashup of two older songs in Subfocus’ “Rock It” and Afrojack presents Shermanology “Grindin”. This was done by two Italians Mike Dem and Ricky Castelli. I don’t know much about them, as I think they are trying to break out as producers, but this mash is something that really caught my attention.

Bonus: Two Songs You Need To Hear
These next two tracks aren’t Electro-House but I figured I’d stick them in for your enjoyment. The first track is a Hardwell & Dannic Remix of Example’s “Say Nothing”. It’s very melodic and not something I expected out of these two producers. But it’s a beautiful track that reminds me of “Save the World” by Swedish House Mafia. Originally released for free.

The other track is a Glitch-Hop track by French producer Habstrakt called “Get Funky”. It’s just too good and has some true Glitchy, Hip-Hoppy bounce to it. Released back in June and has been hanging around the Glitch Hop Top 10 chart on Beatport. Check out this 22-year-old’s SoundCloud for more awesome sounds.
