It’s always an exciting day when a new Tommy Trash song comes out. Previous to today we shared his collaboration with Sebastian Ingrosso on “Reload” but right now I have for you his latest solo effort and it’s a funky one. Maybe that’s because it was released on A-Trak‘s Fool’s Gold Records, which is home to some of the funkiest House tunes out there. Maybe this track was influenced by Trash’s collaboration with A-Trak on “Tuna Melt“, which we heard several times over the Summer and is still yet to be released. “Truffle Pig” goes hard – maybe not as hard as tracks like “The End” or “Future Folk” – and is not an anthem the way “Reload” is, but it’s an awesome tune with some tasteful high-pitched vocal samples. I wanted to share a mash-up I’ve been playing in my sets that has been going over huge. As I mentioned above, Tommy Trash & Sebastian Ingrosso’s “Reload” is a festival anthem that has become a crowd favorite. It, however, lacks a little something during the breakdowns and in my opinion what it’s lacking is vocals. So I did some digging and found this mash-up of “Reload” with Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain”, aptly titled “Reload the Fire”. The mash-up was put together by DJ Zire, who I’ve never heard of, but whose work you can check out on SoundCloud and Facebook.
