On Tuesday I posted about Mat Zo, a producer who never misses. Today I’m posting about Mark Knight – another producer who never misses. As the title suggests, Mark Knight put his magic touch on the Basement Jaxx‘s “Never Say Never”, resulting in a golden House tune that emits feel good vibes through mellow keys, vibrant vocals, and a driving four-on-the-floor beat. The original version of “Never Say Never” is off Basement Jaxx’s upcoming album Junto, which is set for release on August 25. The Basement Jaxx are veterans in the dance music world (active since the 90s) and their forthcoming double album is going to be a pretty big deal – I’m extremely curious to hear what the original version of “Never Say Never” sounds like so I can compare it to Mark Knight’s take on the track. I realize I should never say never, but I really do mean it when I say Mark Knight never misses: I dare you to show me one of his tracks that just isn’t any good.
