Hello MMIBTY followers, we are proud to announce the FIRST EVER MMIBTY Radio Show which will consist of a monthly mix from fellow dj’s and producers from around the world! The first show will be done by a Dj/producer by the name of Duktap and will be premiering her new EP this FRIDAY. Duktap is warm and developed crackling beats, with atmospheric backdrops, and night-time noises. Duktap (Amy Cherette) was born and raised on Lake Michigan and currently resides in San Francisco where she works as a Producer and Audio Engineer. Duktap has risen to prominence with her seamlessly-mixed live DJ sets and acute producer’s ear. Amy is known for bringing emotional elements to her productions and live shows with smooth beats and vibrant echoes that flourish throughout her music. Armed with multiple midi-controllers, Amy employs live sequencing, chopped & screwed vocals, haunting atmospheric pads, hypnotic bass-lines, creative percussion, and classic hip-hop drums to pack dance floors and leave listeners inspired by her unique approach to electronic music. Duktap recently released her ‘Vertigo EP‘ on Unspeakable Records, and is currently working on a live performance that incorporates a visual aesthetic that matches her music.
