In just a under a month San Francisco will be hosting the 4th edition of Summersalt Music Festival. On Saturday September 13th, Pier 70 will be the place to be for fans of Electronic and Hip-Hop music and this is bound to be one for the books. If you’re in Northern California and looking to spice up your September be sure to put Summersalt on your calendars. Summersalt is relatively new (founded in 2010 with a gap year in 2011) but this is your chance to see some great musical acts under the amazingly diverse atmosphere of San Francisco’s Dogpatch district. Having previously taken place at Fort Mason and Portero Hill, this year’s venue sits on the historic shipyard at Pier 70 with a much larger capacity and a scenic view of historic San Francisco. The lineup is quite diverse for this year’s installment, but it features some of our favorite acts like Big Gigantic, Keys ‘N Krates, DJ Dials, The Gas Lamp Killer, G-Eazy, and Jay Ant. But the music is only part of the appeal. Summersalt also offers a vast array of food, games, interactive activities and arts and crafts. We have a feeling Summersalt will take the shape of a true San Francisco festival with a block party feel much how the city is used to – music food and art are what we’ve come to know this city for. But when you have acts like Big Gigantic and Keys ‘N Krates throwing down, plus local favorites such as G-Eazy, you know things are going to be off the hook, setting Bay Area residents up for a fantastic Saturday afternoon and evening.
