Sharam Jey is easily one of my favorite producers over the past year. The fast-rising German House producer, DJ, and label boss has carved out a niche in the G-House world that is so fun, so funky, and so fresh that you can’t not pay attention. Sharam Jey’s track “SWAG!” produced with Sammy W & Alex E was released almost two years ago on his label Bunny Tiger which is home to so many thumping tracks, “SWAG!” being no exception.
Today marks the release of the “SWAG!” remixes, a collection of four fresh takes on the already-awesome original track by Sharam Jey and Sammy W & Alex E. I think the biggest standout has to be the remix by DESTRUCTO & Bot which may be even more gangster than the original, if you didn’t think that was possible. I’ve been on a huge Bot kick lately and if you want to see what this dude is about head to his SoundCloud page. The other remixes are by Daniel Fernandes, who is also starting to make a name for himself, Frey, and Thee Cool Cats. All four of the remixes are exceptional in composition, contain plenty of funk, yet stay original in their own rights to be different than the one next to the other.
