It hasn’t been a great year for the slopes out east. In fact, it’s been terrible. But it’s about to get a whole lot better.
Minus Zero Festival, a second-year festival that took place in California last year and played host to Jamie Jones, Lee Burridge and more last year, has announced it is expanding this spring to include dates in Colorado at Winter Park Resort (April 2-3) and Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont (April 9-10). With the announcement comes some unbelievably big headliners – including Kaskade, Deadmau5 and Diplo – as well as support from Jauz, Gorgon City, Thomas Jack, Manufactured Superstars and locally sourced support. The details and lineup for Mountain High Resort in California have not yet been released but I have no doubt it will probably be the biggest event out of the three.
In addition to providing some awesome music, attendees will be able to shred it up on the hill (let’s hope there’s still some snow by then east-coasters), which should be particularly fun considering there are plans to have a summit as well as a base stage, providing the perfect excuse to run some laps in between sets.
There is also the promise of some dope afterparties to keep the party going after the 10pm nightly cutoff on the main event. We’ll be sure to update you on any new announcements on this as they come through.
The best part about the event is the price – it’s cheap:
- For Stratton: Earlybirds are just $99 and GA tickets come out to $139.
- For CO: Earlybirds are at $159 and GA are $179.
All prices include all fees (!). Compared to any summertime festival, it may be smaller but it’s a hell of a lot more economical and is sure to be a blast. Tickets are already well on their way to selling out so if you have any interest in making your way there, pick up some now on the website at MinusZeroFestival.com.
