Pulling out a bit of a fanboy post here but as Lee Foss is one of my favorite DJs and Repopulate Mars is one of my favorite labels it’s only fitting that I write about THE tour that House music fans need to attend in 2020.
It all starts next Friday in San Francisco as Lee Foss, Latmun, Lauren Lane, Max Chapman, and Prok & Fitch all take over one of my favorite venues The Midway. Then on Saturday we head to LA’s Academy for a monster show put on by Factory 93 (aka Insomniac). This one has a pre-party going from 7-10pm and the main event from 10pm-4am. The same lineup as SF but additional support from Kaysin and the Lisbona Sisters.
Then, in March, Foss takes the show on the road to London on the 7th and Miami on the 20th. Both shows will be huge as Lee Foss certainly has an influence on the UK and has released a lot of music from UK-based artists. Miami is a no-brainer as that show falls during Miami Music Week/Winter music Conference and is really a pilgrimage of dance music fans from all over the world.
If you’re a fan of Lee Foss, Repopulate Mars, or any of the artists on the lineup then you already know. If you’re a House head and you want to try something that is tried and true, get to one of these shows. Hell I even cooked quesadillas during a Lee Foss sunrise set at Burning Man and I’ve never had more fun feeding people. See you there!
