On April 14th Moon Boots will release his latest work, a remix of Sofi Tukker’s track “Johnny”. We’re huge fans of Peter Dougherty, aka Moon Boots, and we are accustom to hearing his productions in the form of soulful, funky house music usually falling in the 120 BPM realm. This week’s release is a bit different, as Moon Boots’ cosmic remix of “Johnny” comes in the form of a sultry downtempo gem with BPMs falling in the mid-90s.
Indie Dance duo Sofi Tukker are currently on tour in the U.S. and recently shared the Faruk Sabanci remix of “Johnny” as well. The duo just wrapped a sold out homecoming show in NYC and played their first show in Brazil to over two thousand fans. They’ll be featured at festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands.
