Late Eighties Caught Dirtybird’s Attention with “Abba Zabba”

Tom Riordan, aka Late Eighties, dropped his Dirtybird debut this week with an infectious tune called “Abba Zabba”. This one is close to my heart as I’ve gotten to know Late Eighties over the past year and he has quite the ear for booty shakers. A seasoned producer and resident DJ in the Bay Area, Late Eighties has a sound that has caught the attention of one of House music’s biggest names.

“Abba Zabba” packs a punch in the bass department and if you know me at all, that’s the way to my heart. It’s hard to describe “Abba Zabba’s” sound because it’s so unique, yet still has that Dirtybird flavor, and it hooks you in despite a lack of any real vocals.

I’m very excited for Late Eighties making his Dirtybird debut and I know this is just the tip of the iceberg of what’s to come. He also runs Admit One Records and they’re hosting what will surely be an insane day party at Bar Fluxus on Saturday June 9. You can check out event details here.

Make sure to show Tom some love and download the track to play in your sets!
