Give me a catchy, feel-good song with groovy House vibes and I’ll be your biggest fan. The Disciples have already proven their worth as a world-wide power house when they unleashed “How Deep Is Your Love” with Calvin Harris, netting over a billion plays on YouTube and Spotify. I love their tracks “Daylight” and “They Don’t Know” which both have solid bass lines and harmonized vocals. And that’s what makes the Disciples great and unique: an infectious combination of layered vocals and some thumping four on the floor.
Enter last week’s release of “No Ties”. It’s deep, it’s soulful, and it gave me all the feels. It has some Disco, it has some Deep House, and it can be played by the pool or late night at the club. If consistency is what you’re looking for from these Brits, “No Ties” should be a nice continuation of what you’ve heard from them before.
