Continuing its meteoric rise as a globally respected movement championing Asian culture and artistry, 88Rising is proud to reveal the full, diversified lineup for the second annual Head in the Clouds Festival taking place on August 17th.
88Rising’s HITC aims to give the representation for Asian music that isn’t seen on the larger festival circuit. As previously announced, Jackson Wang, iKON, DPR Live and Dumbfoundead join Joji, Higher Brothers, Rich Brian, NIKI and August 08 — all on 88rising’s artist roster — who were revealed in the first lineup release. With the event doubling in size from last year, HITC will also feature an exciting new addition in the form of an all-new stage featuring some of the finest electronic music talent that the industry has to offer. K?D, Josh Pan, Manila Killa, Y2K, Deb Never, Park Hye Jin, Qrion, and Don Krez are joining the lineup for what is quickly becoming the MUST attend event of the summer.
88rising and the Head In The Clouds Music & Arts Festival is a single day, all-ages event that will feature performances from the 88rising roster, as well as some of the biggest music acts from around the world. Praised by Billboard as “The Asian Hip-Hop Festival You Need To Know,” the inaugural Head In The Clouds Festival made a groundbreaking impact last September as the first Asian-centric music festival to launch in the United States. Returning for year two, the festival will be a day-long celebration of Asian youth culture and creativity, highlighting the best in music, food, art, and fashion from around the globe. Head in the Clouds 2018 saw performances by Anderson .Paak, Joji, Rich Brian, Higher Brothers and more.
“We want to plant the flag that this is the definitive Asian-music festival in the world.” – 88rising founder Sean Miyashiro to Billboard
