No Strings Attached EP

This EP dropped last week and I am finally getting time to thoroughly listen and review the insane amounts of filth that are packed into these four original tracks. This digital EP showcases both well known artists as well as some up and comers to give you a sense of where dubstep may be headed. The first track I am showcasing is a Boy Kid Cloud song that I can’t stop stop jamming too. The drops are so fresh with an upbeat tempo that is making it hard to stay in my seat at the moment. A really great track that could be used in so many different sets or mixes, so please be creative people. The second song is by two absolutely insane Canadians that have both very influential to the progression of dubstep music through North America. Datsik is constantly pushing the boundaries of dubstep in both his producing as well as his live sets (as noted in the Identity writeup). This song is no exception, so turn up the bass and get down…

Not only are Flux Pavilion and Doctor P megastars in the dubstep scene, but they are some seriously good business men. Circus Records, the brainchild of the two, is quickly becoming an elite label for rising producers in the UK grime/dubstep/drum and bass genres of electronic music. With six artists currently signed and many more to come this is a label to follow as new tracks, EP’s, and albums are scheduled for the future. Currently, Flux is wrapping up an album and had been throwing out rumors of artists like Skism and Foreign Beggars to begin producing under the Circus label… Oh and they are also hosting and promoting events throughout Europe as we speak!
