It’s the familiar phrase you hear when listening to A-Trak‘s monthly mixes on Sirius XM radio. He’s the man behind the thriving record label and a master on the decks, gaining his fame when he was 16 years old for winning the DJ world championship. Along with a select handful of monthly mixes (Diplo, Tommy Trash, Lazy Rich, Dada Life – to name a few), Fool’s Gold Radio is something I highly look forward to each month. Just like Diplo’s mixes, A-Trak’s often contain many songs I’ve never heard of by artists I’ve never heard of. These hour-long sessions are always some form of House music, usually on the funky side of things and always feature some scratching and A-Trak’s eerie voice over the beats.
