Top Shelf Disco’s Debut Compilation Brings the Funk

The last couple months have been an emotional rollercoaster but music fans have been seeking refuge solace with an abundance of live streams, mixes, and new music releases. Producers have been quarantining in their labs which means one of the few positive outputs from this pandemic will be a plethora of fresh tunes.

One Southern California-based collective is taking advantage of all this new music and has released their first compilation which is an absolute fire starter to get you through these dog days of quarantine. I’m talking about the guys at Top Shelf Disco and their Private Reserve Vol. 1 LP.

Private Reserve Vol. 1 is a collection of 10 tracks from up-and-coming producers that ranges from Deep House to Disco to Tech-House heaters and everything in between. Friends and co-founders of Top Shelf Disco Z_R0 and Twinflame each have fantastic gems on the release with “La Rola” and “Just Keep Livin” respectively, with the latter featuring a vocal sample from the classic film Dazed and Confused. We also see a release by good friend OFTK and his track “Top Shelf Sexy” which I’ve already rinsed a few times with a hyped response, featured in my latest yoga set here.

All 10 tracks in this release are absolute perfection and you can have confidence pressing play and letting the music play for your next boogie-down. Bonus for all you DJs out there is that all 10 tracks are available for free download on SoundCloud below.

If you like what you hear show the artists some love!
