Survival Sunday: In Remembrance of 9/11 and The Newest from Chuckie and Justice

Whatever you may believe happened 10 years ago on this day when both of the Twin Towers fell to the ground after planes crashed into each of them and likewise the other acts of terrorism that occurred in Virginia and Pennsylvania that same day, we must all pause today and remember how we felt that day and how it has forever affected our lives and our country. Despite all the horrible things this country is going through today with our economy and our politics, we must put everything aside on a day like today to reflect and remember.  That being said, I don’t mean to be a downer… Just to emphasize the obvious: that the ten year anniversary of 9/11/2001 is an important day for us as Americans that we should take seriously and remember those lost that day with unwavering respect.

First a little news before we get into the latest and hottest tracks. This week, the sexy ladies of Nervo dropped their newest EP which we posted about 3 weeks ago so it is hardly news to any of our faithful readers (the Nervo Goes to Paris Remix of “We’re All No One” is our favorite, check it here) but is worth mentioning as it has been all over the internet this week.  Cheers to those two as I hope they gain a good deal of solid recognition from it.

Also, in a side note, Paris Hilton made news this week as she has officially proclaimed that she plans to become the premier female house DJ through much training from the likes of Afrojack, Deadmau5 and David Guetta.  She is apparently “working” in Ibiza currently studying the various DJ’s that play there before starting work on her first album.  Despite the severely bad taste this whole bit of news leaves in my mouth, I am certainly interested to see what the fuck this whore can put together. If I ever end up at a Paris Hilton concert, I’m not sure what I will do… (At least we can all be assured that her and Steve Angello will never share a stage… if you don’t know what I’m talking about, google it.)

First, Chuckie, the Dutch DJ who is quickly rising to mainstream fame along fellow Dutchmaster Afrojack, came out with a HUGE track this week which I think is going to be heard on repeat in clubs and at shows over the next few months at least.  Sick bassline and dirty danceable Dutch riff. Get it and learn it, NOW.

Chuckie – What Happens In Vegas (Club Mix)

Next, Justice released their second single off their newest album. So far, it’s a little different than the Justice most of us know from their debut Cross but I like it; both tracks seem to have more of a “band” feel than the hard-electro sound from Cross.  The new album, of which this song is the title track, is set to be released next month on October 25.

Justice – Audio, Video, Disco (Preview)

Finally, Arty, the Russian producer/DJ behind the hit “Around The World”, released his newest progressive track and it’s good.  Not “Around the World” good but fans of progressive and Arty’s style will like it.  This guy has the potential to become the next Avicii if he plays his cards right and, for his sake, I hope he does.

Arty – Kate (Original Mix)

Also, if you missed it, Tiesto’s newest BANGER “Maximal Crazy” also came out this week –  cop it here!
